Plasticizer

The plasticizer is widely used in the industrial production of polymer materials. Any substance added to a polymer material that increases the plasticity of the polymer is called a plasticizer. Plasticizers can improve the performance of polymer materials, reduce production costs and increase production benefits.

Specifications of Plasticizer

Plasticizers are usually polar or partially polar in structure and are high boiling, volatile liquids or low melting solids that are well miscible with polymers. The plasticizer is distributed among large molecular chains, which can reduce the intermolecular force, reduce the viscosity of the polymer, and enhance its flexibility. The plasticizer is divided into two main, deputy plasticizer, the role of the main plasticizer is very compatible with the resin, its permeability is small, volatile low can improve the efficiency of plasticization.

How is Adipic Acid applied to Plasticizer?

The plasticizer is made up of adipic acid and octanol.

Most plasticizers are added to polyvinyl chloride which is not only used for hard water pipes and sewers, but also used to make soft shower curtains, hoses and cable jackets.
